Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 can accurately detect the presence of people even when there is no activity. The room can be divided into zones and areas (up to 30), the sensor tracks up to five people at a time, allowing you to build Smart Home automation based on this data. The device is equipped with a built-in light sensor, a fall detection function and provides complete privacy, high speed, accuracy and uninterrupted operation due to local data processing.

Automation options:
- Accent lighting: the presence sensor can adjust the lighting so that it “follows” you around the room. As you move, the light is adjusted in real time, maintaining the desired illumination level in the place where you are.
- Soft sleep or Bedtime: in the evening, when the presence sensor detects that a person is in bed, the lighting in the bedroom can smoothly decrease to a minimum level, creating a soft atmosphere for going to sleep. · Night light: If you get up at night, the presence sensor can turn on a soft night light in the hallway or bathroom so you can move around safely, but at the same time not disturb those who are still sleeping.
- Morning coffee: When you get out of bed in the morning, the sensor can automatically turn on the coffee machine or kettle (if they are connected to a smart plug!).
- Automatic opening of curtains in the morning: If the sensor detects that both people have left the bed, it can open the curtains, filling the room with morning light.
- Away mode: When the sensor detects that no one is in the room, it automatically turns on the security mode, for example, activating alarm systems or switching smart cameras to recording mode.
